Interns and charitable work

From time to time, Harbinger engages interns to assist with specific projects, and provides other types of support to students, special events, and community groups.

Education: B.S. Management Science and Engineering, Stanford University, 2012

Project: Conducted an on-the-ground assessment of potential partner organizations and socio-political conditions for a U.S.-based nonprofit organization considering working in Uganda. Forged partnerships with four community-based organizations after gathering information through research and interviews.

Harbinger supported Allan’s undergraduate studies through the nonprofit, SEED Hope. During his studies, Harbinger arranged an internship for Allan with the British charity, Soft Power Education. Soft Power connects travelers with opportunities to make direct and personal contributions to improving the quality of life and education in Uganda communities. Allan’s experience with Soft Power fits perfectly with his long and continuing track record of generous volunteer work in health and education.
